Death Note story follows, brilliant high school student, Light Yagami, who finds a supernatural notebook called the “Death Note” that can kill anyone whose name is written in it. Driven by a desire to rid the world of criminals and create a new utopian society, Light, under the alias “Kira,” begins a global killing spree. His actions attract the attention of the world’s greatest detective, L, who is determined to unmask and capture Kira in a high-stakes battle of wits.
